I was so excited to read Once Upon a Broken Heart as I was always intrigued by Jacks in the Caraval trilogy.
I loved how we met Evangeline and how she herself was introduced to Jacks. I was hooked immediately.
The world was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed traversing the world and being introduced to new characters. The twists that occurred in Once Upon a Broken Heart kept me guessing and glued to the pages.
I loved seeing Evangeline grow into herself. She was a strong women from the start but she definitely did more things for herself when she met Jacks, Apollo and Lal’s. I really enjoyed her relationship with Jacks and Apollo.
The ending left me with so many questions and I need the sequel as soon as possible!
